1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site “remember” certain actions and preferences for a period of time. Alongside cookies we also use similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage), which works in much the same way.

5. Google Analytics and consent

We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Limited) to analyze traffic. We load it in consent mode (Google Consent Mode v2): until you give consent, Google Analytics sets no cookies and uses no identifiers (such as a client ID).

In that mode, without consent, only limited, non-identifying cookieless signals are sent (so-called “cookieless pings”) — for example a page view and technical data such as IP address and device type — used solely for aggregated, approximate traffic statistics. The IP address is used only momentarily (e.g. for approximate location) and is not stored by Google Analytics 4.

Once you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies and collects full information about visits — such as pages viewed, device used and interactions — so we can understand how to improve the site. Analytics data is not used for advertising profiling — advertising signals (ad_storage and others) are controlled separately, through the “Marketing” category (see the next section). Because Google may also process data in the United States, the transfer is protected under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can read more about Google’s processing in Google’s Privacy Policy.

6. Google Ads and conversion measurement

To understand which ads lead to real orders, we use Google Ads (provided by Google Ireland Limited). The advertising signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are off by defaultand are enabled only if you turn on the “Marketing” category in the cookie settings.

After your consent, Google may set a first-party cookie (_gcl_au) that links a completed order to an ad click, so we can measure conversions. The order data (value and currency) is sent to Google in aggregate form for that measurement; we do not sell your data. Because Google may also process data in the United States, the transfer is protected under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

You can withdraw your marketing consent at any time from the cookie settings — the advertising signals and cookies are then switched off again.
